About Us
Hello from the Soder Family!
Total TDY is owned and operated by the Soder family. As an active-duty Air Force family, our many PCS moves and TDYs have taught us the value of a welcoming place to stay and a community that makes you feel at home. Those experiences shape the care and hospitality we bring to Total TDY.
Thank you for choosing to stay with us. We’re grateful for the opportunity and look forward to getting to know you!
Our Story
Our Air Force journey has taken us to:
United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado
Vance AFB, Enid, Oklahoma (UPT)
Randolph AFB, San Antonio, Texas (IFF)
Kelly Field, San Antonio, Texas (F-16 B-course)
Aviano AB, Italy
Maxwell AFB, Montgomery, Alabama (SOS)
Holloman AFB, Alamogordo, New Mexico
These days, Dylan flies the F-16, and Kayla is a Family Nurse Practitioner and college professor. Along for the adventure are our two boys, Grayson and Max, and our yellow lab, Hudson, who’s been with us since UPT.
At Total TDY, we want you to feel at home and supported throughout your stay. Beyond providing comfortable lodging, we’re happy to be a friendly resource for questions about training, military family life, or where to find a great meal in San Antonio.
We know military life can be challenging, and we’re here to help make your TDY experience a little easier. We look forward to welcoming you!
